Anniversary concert: Hugo Alfvén 150 years

Anniversary concert with the ensembles the Royal Academic Orchestra, Uppsala University Jazz Orchestra, Allmänna Sången, Orphei Drängar, Uppsala Akademiska Kammarkör, La Cappella, Uppsala Blåsarsymfoniker. Host: Stina Ekblad.

This year, 2022, it is 150 years since one of Sweden's most beloved composers and former Director musices Hugo Alfvén was born.

Musicum and the Department of Musicology will celebrate Alfvén's importance for active music life at Uppsala University with an anniversary in October. A symposium, concerts, lectures and a masterclass will be arranged.

University Hall, at 3.00- approx. 5.40 p.m (incl. 40 min interval). Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the interval. 

Free admission, but tickets is needed. Tickets can be picked up at Uppsala Student Union or at Servicecenter Segerstedthuset. Ticket release at September 16, at 12.30 p.m. Remaining tickets will be handed out at the entrance of the University Hall at 2.00-2.45 p.m on the concert day. 

Update about tickets 2022-10-06: Unfortunately their is no tickets left. If there is remaining tickets left they will be handed out at the entrance of the University Hall at 2.00 p.m on the concert day.
